Introduction to the Sky Garden
Hi guys, today we will go up the Sky Garden in the centre of London, next to this beautiful old church. Just to the right-hand side of it is what we call the walkie-talkie Tower, and right at the top, that’s where we will be heading up to get some amazing views of London. So let’s get inside.
Entering the Building

We’re at 20 Fenchurch Street in London. The left-hand queue is for those without tickets, and the right-hand side is for those with tickets. You enter the building here, and this is where you get your tickets scanned. After you reach the top, we have a gift shop and a cafe.
First Views from the Top

This is what you’re greeted with. We have a lovely little bar area and lots of seating areas. Let’s go outside and see some of the amazing views of London. The Shard is right ahead of us, Tower Bridge is to our left, HMS Belfast is on the water, and look how high we are. It’s amazing.
Exploring the Outdoor Terrace

We walk along this area a bit more and get another clearer view. Quite busy today, so there we go. Some little signs on the glass tell you what these landmarks are. There’s The Shard. Let’s head a bit further along. What can we see over here? Well, the River Thames is there, I think we’ve gathered that already. To our right is London Bridge, probably the ugliest in London. And wow, let’s take in this amazing view of London. And over there is St. Catherine’s Docks.
Heading Back Inside

We’re going to head back inside now, and, uh, there are some stairs to go up even further. We’re going to make our way around and go up the stairs.
The Sky Garden Experience

So as the name suggests, the Sky Garden, there are a lot of, uh, plants and flowers here, lots of sort of trees. We’re going to head up these stairs and see what plants there are, and we’re also going to get some better views from the other side. You know the roof there, so we are at the top of the walkie-talkie Tower. Some seating areas there, which is great, chill out.
Ticket Information

You need to book your tickets in advance for the Sky Garden; otherwise, you may have a lengthy wait at the bottom. You’re allocated an hour when you’re up here, which is plenty of time. It’s enough time to take in some views and then sit and chill with a drink. There are a lot of seating areas, as you can see.
Upper Level Views

We’ll make our way a bit further up, and here we go, there’s the Olympic Stadium. We’ll carry on going, there’s another bar to our left. Look up here, there’s that bar. We’re going to keep going. We are right at the top now, you can see the glass roof there. Another view of London is that you can see St. Paul’s Cathedral over there, and there is a restaurant right at the top called the Fenchurch.
Free Access Information

The walkie-talkie tower is at 20 Fen Church Street, and we can look down at all the people taking in those amazing views. It’s perfectly free to, uh, come up here as long as you, uh, book your ticket in advance.
Dining Options

Here we go. There are many tables. We can sit down, have a drink, and even enter the restaurant and get a meal if we like. There we go, looking at all those people taking in those views. That’s where we were a moment ago.
Descending and Final Views

We will make our way back down now, and we’ll take some more views while we’re here. There’s the Leadenhall building, and you can see the Gherkin, that funny circular Tower.
