INSIDE LONDON SKY GARDEN
Location & Access
This super fun London attraction is located at none other than the FR church building, which the Londoners also call the walkie-talkie building. Access to Sky Garden is free, but you still need a reservation and a valid form of ID to get in. I’ll link the reservation page in the description below, along with opening hours. Also, be aware that children under 16 are not allowed in after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 p.m. on the weekend.
Things to Do Inside
Once you’re inside, there’s tons of fun stuff to do, with the main attraction obviously being the open-air Sky [Music] Deck. This observation deck is super cool, and it has an amazing view of the city, including some of London’s most famous landmarks like the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and The Shard. You can stay out here for as long as you like, weather permitting, and then once you’re done, head back inside because there are a ton of other fun things for you to do.
Indoor Garden & Architecture
Make sure to take your time to explore the indoor garden and admire the incredible architecture of the walkie-talkie building. The views from the Sky Deck aren’t the only ones worth seeing. If you head all the way up the stairs and towards the back of the space, you’ll also get views like these.
Dining & Amenities
There is a gift shop, a cafe, a couple bars, and two restaurants inside the building. So, if you want to grab a drink, there’s plenty of places to sit where you can enjoy the view from up above. If you are dining here, you won’t need a separate reservation in order to enjoy the Sky Deck and the gardens, but I do recommend that you come in at least an hour before your reserved time so you can experience everything that this attraction has to offer.
Restaurant Experience
We booked a reservation at a Darwin Brer because the restaurant looked like it had a really cool vibe, and the menu also looked really [Music] good. We got one of the best seats in the house with an amazing view, so I highly recommend that you ask for a corner table if you choose to come eat here. We had some coffee, ordered a couple burgers, and everything was delicious. 10 out of 10 recommend.
